Monday. 9th of September. Our group came to Malacca. As soon as we arrived to the Lisbon hotel- Limkokwing campus in Malacca, our lecturers invited mr. Frederico to introduce us with the history of this city. There was a briefing class, where we were introduced with a rich and deep history of Malacca settlement. Also, mr. Vinod and mr. Mahmud gave us the assignment, which was in settin up the network in any institution around the campus. 1st day of staying our lecturers organized a trip to the centre of the city. 2 buses brought us to the heart of Malacca, where we visited shopping centres and food courts. It was only the 1st part of the trip.
2nd part of our trip consisted of the river cruise. Limkokwing students were riding on the boat, crossing the jungle street, restaurants and clubs. That trip was extremely exciting because of the mood of our students. Our group were waving every single person they have seen on the way, trying to attract an attention. Everyone and everybody were smiling and waving back to us. So, all the tourists in that area remembered Limkokwing students. It was a long, full of emotions and new discoveries.
Tuesday. 10th of September. As you know, breakfast time at the hotels usually starts early and if you are late, it's your problem. This tricky fact pulled all the hungry students out of their beds and the reason was to fill their stomaches. So, the day is on! 2nd day trip was not less stunnig as it was before. The day started with the visiting of Malacca museum. This museum was full of paintings, constructions and videos, introducing tourists with the history of an ancient portuguese settlement. Museums are considered to explore the cities deeply inside and realize how it was developed.
Afterthat, our group went to the old buildings full of artists and musicians that were playing a guitar ot drawing amazing portraits! Their were done by extremely thin pencils and 1 work took around 1 month of efforts. Our students were in love with those places because fascinating music and stunning pictures were really catchy. If the 1st part of the day gave us the chance to to see how the city was developed, this part told us why these citizens love their city, we were looking into the soul of the city, which was so amazing.
For a lunch we decided not to go far away and our choice was portuguese restaurant nearby to our campus. What can be better that the seafood nearby the sea? Only snapping the pictures with the friends and uploading the to the social media. Here the trouble came out, the restaurant didn't have a network at all, which gave us the idea to our assignment. That long and incredible day was the begining of this project.
Wednesday. 11th of September. The 3rd day was the hardest and hottest ever. All of that because of the extremely hot weather and our walkings precisely under the sun. Then, our lecturers hold us to Al' Famosa, where we were given bicycles. At the first sight it was just a easy driving through the jungles of Malacca, but when we saw the sign 10km more, our surprising faces and eyes become bigger and biggerm but in the end we realized that it was a really nice trip in the jungles. In the end, we realized that Malacca is not so small as we thought before,
Finally, the bus dropped us at our hotel and our group decided to make some research and provide a questionnaire to the manager of Portuguese restaurant. We were asking a questions, trying to catch the situation and look at the work we need to do. Scope of our project was to set up an efficient and useful network, so our group were exploring the place.
Thursday, 12th September. Mr. Vinod and mr. Mahmud decided to bring something new to our trip and we had some changes to the plan which was never before in Malacca. We went to aqua park! All the students were glad to go to swim in such a hot weather and as soon as limokokwing students arrived to that place, they were really excited to spend time there. Different hills,water parks, splashes of water, all of that took our energy and every single student was happy. Afterthat our students from Arab countries decided to set up the barbeque for students. They bought some spices, the chef brought a meat in the campus and here we go with the barbeque evening on the seaside. Such a paradise.
While our guys were preparing the meat,our group: Alibek,Nazymgul,Jess,VIemal and Tess went to our restaurant to snap some pictures for our project. We were deciding where we need to put a main Pc, which cabling to set up and so on.
Friday,13th of September. Unfortunately, it was the last not least day of our staying in this cosy city. The morning started with the breakfast and packing. After all of the long things such as check out, Mr. Vinod and mr. Mahmud invited all the students in the main hall of Limkokwing campus in Malacca to take some photos and give us the certificates of passing global classroom in Malacca. All the ceremony was full of emotions.
In the end, our drivers pleasantly brought us to our real home- Cyberjaya Limkokwing Campus.
16th of September. This day our group gathered to decide on which part must do each student. The task was to gather an information and share it with everyone on the Facebook.
By Thursday, we gathered all the information on which cabling, which security and where the router should be and etc.
The Following week we were working on a requirements and setting up the network od "Lisbon" restaurant. Our team decided to spread all the tasks, so that everyone was working and bringing his benefit to this assignment.
At thursday we decided to gather and see the work we have done, so all of us contributed their efforts on this work and finally we analyzed and reached the ending point of the efficient and proper network in our restaurant.

At thursday we decided to gather and see the work we have done, so all of us contributed their efforts on this work and finally we analyzed and reached the ending point of the efficient and proper network in our restaurant.
